These terms govern your use of Coursly ("the app"), a student productivity app. By using Coursly, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Coursly. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 16 or older.
Coursly helps university students organize their coursework by connecting to Moodle™ learning management systems. The app provides AI-powered study planning, revision quizzes, grade tracking, and task management.
You sign in using your university Moodle™ credentials. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Moodle account. Coursly authenticates directly with your university's Moodle server and does not store your Moodle password.
Coursly offers a free tier with limited AI features and a Premium subscription with expanded capabilities. Premium is available as a monthly, semester (6-month), or yearly auto-renewing subscription. A 7-day free introductory offer may be available to eligible new subscribers.
Study plans, revision quizzes, and task suggestions are generated by AI and may contain errors. We strive to provide accurate and useful content, but AI outputs are supplementary tools and should not be your sole source of academic information. Always verify important deadlines and requirements with your university's official sources.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not make additional warranties about AI content beyond those required by law. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under EU law, including the Digital Content Directive (EU 2019/770).
You agree not to:
The app, its design, code, and branding are owned by us. Your course data remains yours. By using the app, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to process your course data solely to provide the app's features (syncing, AI analysis, study plan generation, quiz generation). This license terminates when you delete your account.
You represent and warrant that you have the right to upload, sync, or otherwise provide any content (including course documents, lecture materials, and syllabi) to Coursly, or that your use of such content is permitted under applicable law (including fair use or equivalent exceptions for personal educational purposes). You are solely responsible for any content you provide through the app.
We do not claim ownership of any user-uploaded content. We process uploaded documents solely to extract deadlines, generate study plans, and create revision quizzes for your personal educational use.
We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that content processed through Coursly infringes your copyright, please contact us at adonapp@proton.me with the subject line "Copyright Notice" and include:
We will investigate and take appropriate action. We may terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright.
Coursly may offer a referral program granting free Premium access. Each referral code can be used a limited number of times. Referrals require a verified Moodle account. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the referral program at any time.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for (a) death or personal injury caused by negligence, (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or (c) any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages; in such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
You may delete your account at any time from within the app. Deletion is permanent and removes all server-side data associated with your account. See our Privacy Policy for details on data retention after deletion.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of material changes via an in-app notice. Continued use of the app after the notice period constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree with the changes, you may stop using the app and delete your account.
If you reside in the United States, these terms are governed by the laws of the state in which you reside, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in your state of residence.
If you reside outside the United States, these terms are governed by the laws of Luxembourg. Any dispute shall be resolved through the courts of Luxembourg, except where your local consumer protection laws grant you the right to bring a claim in your local jurisdiction.
Nothing in this section limits your right to file a complaint with a consumer protection agency or data protection authority in your jurisdiction.
